Re: Mahomie

Domes are so 1980's...all NFL teams should be required to play on natural grass in the elements...period.

Re: Used car buying

I picked up a 2016 Audi A4 with 14k miles on it from Carmax. It was brought up from Dallas. They waived the delivery fee. They also gave me $500 over KBB on my 2008 Audi. Very happy and basically simple, no haggle process.

Re: Mahomie

I like Conley. He's had a great last couple games. I think he's been underutilized since they signed Watkins.

Re: Cut the Cord - sort of

I can't deal with the buffering. I was at a friends house watching the Kansas game last week and it was unbearable. Went home at half time. I use Chromecast for ESPN+ and it's not too bad most of the time, but I won't cut the cord because I don't want to be annoyed during important Kansas games. I ...

Re: Cut the Cord - sort of

So I'm thinking about doing this. I currently pay $150/month for Google basic cable and 100mbps internet. I think internet alone through Google is $50/month. So SlingTv is about $25/month, right? Question is, my living room TV is new, meaning it's a smart TV and doesn't need a Roku or Fire Stick, bu...

Re: Mahomie

It isn't the Chiefs job to investigate. Why? He was employed by the Chiefs. They would check with local authorities...which they did. They would interview the player...which they did. If you got a DWI, but hadn't been in court, would your employer run out and start an investigation? No. If there wa...

Re: Mahomie

Yeah makes sense CnB. But if no charges were filed, which raises more questions, then you would think the case is closed. IDK, I'm not an attorney like you.

Re: Mahomie

Almost sounds like the Cleveland PD tried to bury the story if they wouldn't release the video to the NFL. Was it because Hunt was a hometown kid?

Re: Mahomie

I'm also surprised the Chiefs front office didn't do their due diligence after the incident occurred in February? Sounds like they just took Kareem's word and moved on. You would think they would have requested the police report and any video from the hotel to support or dispute his statement. Some...

Again something doesn't add up. You mean the NFL, a billion dollars enterprise, couldn't get the video but TMZ could? I'm still scratching my head.

Re: Mahomie

Thursday night Hunt was at the Sporting KC game with Mahomes, Kelsey and Henne. Hope this doesn't derail the team chemistry. Definitely takes away the excitement of tomorrow's game because that's all the broadcasters will be talking about...sigh.

I hear ya CnB. Was Dorsey still with the Chiefs when Hunts incident took place? Can't recall. But I could see Dorsey trying to bury it.

Re: Mahomie

Oh god damnit. Just hearing/seeing this. Among the reasons why I don’t pay more attention to the nfl. Of course cutting him was the only appropriate response. Especially after all the dv bullshit already in the league you’d think a player would be able to just not fucking do it. But alas. God damni...

Re: Mahomie

I'm still a little surprised by his actions. Personal story, but I met Kareem while I was trying on some clothes at BR on the Plaza, about the time this video was taken. I know it was late February and I walked out of the dressing room wearing a sweater my gf picked out. I was standing in front of t...

No mention of the old Yacht Club. Loved that place.
