If you are are concerned about Lawson’s play without Doke, perhaps it’s you who needs to be questioned about watching. Azubuikes 141 minutes this season come out to be exactly 1 half of basketball per game. It’s also where we have been most efficient, gotten stops and won the majority of contests. ...

Miss having at least the threat of a shot blocker. A media member asked if the perimeter defense was good enough to negate have a true shot blocker at the rim. His spirits are high. Self sees no reason why he can’t be up and at em by the end of the weekend. In a boot, but certainly up and around. Goal would be to have him 100% for conference start.

After a month in, Self thinks the identity is taking form. Team has much more ability to be better defensively than we thought. Can be one of our better defensive teams. Guys can get out and after it better than past.
