Re: Welcome Bobby Pettiford Jr

I'd prefer more burger boys but athleticism and quickness at the PG spot is critical for next season. Too many mid-6 footers terrified to dribble, more of this type of guy.

First Moderna microchip coming at me on Saturday. I've never been more fucking excited to get a shot.

Re: 21-22 lineup

I don't necessarily think he's an NBA player but this comes a few days after Bill discussed needing some athleticism to combat the length in the NCAA tournament. I don't think TGF has Wiggins or even Vick athleticism, but he was one of the few with legit bounce. I'm just going to assume this is the...

I hope Indiana doesn't end up hiring Chris Beard.

Just kidding, sorta.

For some reason I just assumed Mitch staying due to the COVID rule wouldn't count against our scholly total. But if it does...Mitch, we appreciate your hustle....that's why it was so hard to cut you.

Re: Is the Golden Era over?

Ty and Elijah were also nails for 2.5 months. Yeah, at least Elijah waited until the Sweet 16 to completely shit himself. By the way, the last three KU tourney games I saw in person were: KU/VCU, KU/Michigan, and KU/Nova. Fuck me right? You watched the un-holy trinity of the 2010’s almost. Be thank...

Re: Is the Golden Era over?

Agbaji has to be better. Braun has so much talent but no confidence. How many times did he turn down rhythm threes this season? He's way too good to pass on those. In the game tonight he passed on a catch and shoot only to settle for a horrendous looking stepback.

Re: Is the Golden Era over?

I think it is clear that, whatever Bill's offense has evolved to, it needs an aces lead guard to make it work. Preferably two. I know it's not as easy as "rebuild some of the best teams KU has ever had" but Mario/Russ, Frank/Devonte, Devonte/Malik are really a model for how this is suppos...

Re: Is the Golden Era over?

I hate to be a broken record, lol jk I don't give a shit, but there ARE a lot of good pieces on this roster that mean absolutely nothing if we don't get an above average PG. The offense was hard to watch all season. I think Harris is good and by the time he's a senior we're looking at a very good p...

Hello

So what's new? I come back here once a year and frantically post for an hour and then forget it exists. I refuse to go to the politics board but I assume it's full of 89 year old men complaining about obnoxious kids on college campuses (I'll send someone my paycheck if DCHawk's old ass isn't one of ...

Re: Is the Golden Era over?

Dave improved a lot as the season went on but I still had a panic attack anytime he frantically started backing someone down. He always looks like he's about to lose control of the ball even though he's just dribbling in one spot.

If Harris the starter, I'll absolutely take that bet. He's a nice player but absolutely not a starting PG for a top 2 seeded team in the tournament.

But if Bill is able to land one of the big transfer guards out there then I think it's certainly possible.

I'm interested but want to know who you project as KU's starting PG next year.

And yes, I agree that he got really boned last year -- it was the best team in the country. But, uh, it's not an accident teams have legendary performances from 3 against us in the tournament.

Quick Question

Are peeps able to raise the question about the head coach or do the olds still run people off for that level of treason? Let's have a dialogue.
