Re: CHAZ

Don't worry, they are growing their own garden now so they'll have food to survive. The irony is, they've sort of created an anarchist paradise, given that many of them want more government.

Re: F the NCAA

Someone has a personal agenda against Self, so I would guess they will find some small way to slap him with something. No one is arguing Kansas is innocent -- we just want some consistency if there are going to consequences.

Re: George Floyd and the Ensuing Protests

Please explain to me how the protesters "spread the virus worse" than the literally 10s of millions of people in this country who don't wear masks and don't give a shit about social/physical distancing and who have spread the virus. I can't prove without a shadow of doubt they are "s...

Re: COVID-19 numbers

I think there may be some small difference between meteorologists, who often only care about protecting people from the dangers of weather vs. former investment bankers who could care less about informing the average Joe about a recession coming. Just sayin.

Re: F the NCAA

We're all tired of this b.s. from the NCAA. They look the other way after UNC commits the biggest case of academic fraud I've ever known about, and they don't care about Zion's situation at Duke. Someone needs to push back against this nonsense. Even if Self loses, I'm glad he is fighting back. The ...

Re: George Floyd and the Ensuing Protests

I never said or implied that. It's the protesters that you should be mad at, since they are a bunch of idiots that spread the virus worse than anyone else.

Re: COVID-19 numbers

Doing QE in the short term may work, but we all know it cannot last.

The real question is, who on here should have the right to decide which business should remain closed? No one.

Bret Weinstein made a great point today:

Dentists gotta eat as well. I can't claim to know with certainty that it's more dangerous to go to Costco than the dentist. You got me there. I just don't think it's likely to be more dangerous for the dentist who uses more to protect himself from infection (gloves, shield, surgical mask, etc.). You...

I found the best ramen noodles place ever right before covid. It's near Culver City. Not a big fan of ramen, but this Japanese place is insanely delicious. If you're ever in LA, I recommend.

Re: COVID-19 numbers

My point, again, was that it shouldn't be up to the government to decide what is safe and what isn't. It's probably more safe for a dentist to work on one person with their mouth open than going into a Costco with hundreds of people walking around breathing and coughing. Dentists wear shields which ...
