Re: COVID-19 numbers
It sadly does show that having a PhD does not necessarily mean one will think critically with logic and facts. That has to come from within and no piece of paper can give you that.

Re: COVID-19 numbers
Not even sure why some cities are still locking down, because we've had tons of protests and riots all over the country. It's pretty much impossible to stop the spread now. But I still would wear your masks, just because if anything, it might help some.

I don't "fail to recognize the past", but what does that have to do with now? There comes a point when you have to stop making excuses for your lack of progress in life. It's hard, I know, but there is no other way. The fact of the matter is, there is nothing holding blacks back in 2020, ...

Well, he had several dangerous drugs in his system, and he once pointed a gun at a pregnant woman's belly to get money. I would say there were some serious issues with his attitude in the past. Not saying he deserved what he got, but that was because of police brutality.

Also, if what you're saying is true, the Asians that immigrated to America should have failed too. Why are they succeeding much more than blacks? Perhaps it's not just "racism" as you want to believe.

Re: COVID-19 numbers
I'm sure the 890 who died yesterday agree. Just out of curiosity, how many of those 890 were already past the median age for life expectancy in this country? How many were already dying of pre-existing health conditions? How many were nursing home residents who have nearly non-existent immune syste...

They report the news not make it. So sad you're 80 years old and still haven't recognized this. Phd, so you're saying that their problems are not unique to them. That actually makes the argument worse that there's some unique thing holding them back. Exactly. There is nothing but their own work eth...

Re: why the greatest economy ever...
I would argue that most of the problems with blacks in America comes from within their families. Unfortunately, that cannot be fixed by government. I would doubt that more government involvement is going to solve any problem, as we already have all kinds of things to help blacks try to succeed and ...

Re: why the greatest economy ever...
Well, what is it that I'm missing? -Is America more racist now than in the past? -Are blacks worse off in America now in terms of opportunities than they were decades ago? Easily, the answer is no to both those questions. The real bigger problem is that we have too many people thinking emotionally a...

Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
I honestly think I did have covid in early March, but I have no way to confirm without an antibody test. Would you do anything differently if you took the test and the answer was "yes, you did"? I dont trust the tests enough to say that I would relax my precautions in public. Right now? P...

Re: why the greatest economy ever...
Racism exists, yes. But not at the level the media is trying to make everyone believe. They know exactly what buttons to push for the less intelligent. Furthermore, there wasn't any strong evidence that George Floyd's death was because of racism. Police brutality? Absolutely. The media will use any ...

but...why do you care so much? why do you come here with your predictions about things you aren't even doing and other people only do very infrequently? I just like to give everyone a heads up (those that are listening). Just like I said the Fed would cut rates to zero that I warned about that last...

No. I don't buy homes as investments. This summer would be the last chance to sell before the crash happens. Banks are already requiring 20% down and a 740+ fico score in many cases. That further takes out a lot of buyers. I don't know how it could be any more obvious that homes prices will plunge i...

Stretching the facts there 'eh?
About the housing market: Um, I don't think anyone on here could tell me with a straight face that housing prices will be higher in 2021. How would that even be possible?

Or maybe the guy who helped save lives in China? Maybe the guy never owned any M95 masks and actually was selling surgical masks at a small markup? Maybe this guy isn't as rich as you think?
