Re: next soccer question

That was a super fun match. Didn't even think about that there would be a thread here. I thought we were toast when Mexico went up 2-0, then a few minutes later it's tied 1-1. It started to get a little tense in the stands when they went to VAR and eventually gave Pulisic the PK. Mexico fans easily ...

From the FDA site: https://www.fda.gov/vaccines-blood-biologics/safety-availability-biologics/updated-information-blood-establishments-regarding-covid-19-pandemic-and-blood-donation individuals who received a nonreplicating, inactivated, or mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccine can donate blood without a wait...

Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground

Which did you get? My second Moderna shot a few weeks ago was miserable. About 24 hours after the shot I just felt terrible and had a low grade fever. Following morning I was absolutely fine.

Re: In this thread, the "experts" own Lobs

Which version of the vaccine was used? Good question - I had to look it up. The Seychelles is relying on China-made Sinopharm and Covishield, the AstraZeneca vaccine made in India. Of all fully vaccinated people, 57% received Sinopharm, which was given to those ages 18 to 60, while 43% took Covishi...

Re: In this thread, the "experts" own Lobs

Perfect example, Lobs, that the vaccines work: Around 20% of those who were admitted to hospital for treatment had been vaccinated, but their cases weren't serious, the Ministry of Health said Monday. Almost none of the critical and severe cases requiring intensive care had been vaccinated, and no o...

I certainly have no reason to believe he didn't see anything. If I saw something like that, I'd certainly be shaken and want to connect with a community.

Just to be a little more direct, it's fine if you don't believe him. Might be a time to just ignore it and move on.

Re: Another mass shooting

No just another lie by the NRA. The first measure, which passed the Democratic-led House 227-203, would close a long-standing loophole in gun laws by expanding background checks to those purchasing weapons over the internet, at gun shows and through certain private transactions. Only eight Republica...

Well guys, it looks like I may be banned soon. I was called out for even questioning the safety of a vaccine that has proven to kill some people. No, you were warned for posting false information in the COVID thread. Since you decided to get into it publicly, you posted "The vaccine won't help...

Are electricians needed to add hardwires from the basement to first floor, or could this be a DIY/handperson job? 1920’s house, unfinished basement. TIA If along the same vertical line (at least when behind drywall), DIY very much possible. Seconded. I ran mine from the basement where my network ge...

Re: Question for the gun owners on here

I have no plans to ever open or concealed carry, which makes the question largely moot for me. What I can say is that the universally accepted rule is to never point a firearm at something unless you intend to shoot it. If someone points a firearm at me, I'm going to try to find a way to defend myse...

Re: 5.7 earthquake

Apparently the fracking has stopped but yet still having these minor quakes. I've also heard that argument a few times. I'm no geologist, but my understanding is that once that wastewater is injected back into a fracking well, it doesn't just dissipate after a fault slip or whatever is causing the ...

Re: 5.7 earthquake

I chuckled. Apparently, it's not due to oil and gas activity. Apparently it is wastewater injections that have spread under faults and are disrupting those. Just odd. Some of them aren't a shaking feeling, it feels like something runs into a building type of feel. I've been trying to find some good...

Got a first round bye in the one league I really spend any effort on (14 team, IDP, .25 ppr). My biggest weakness has been QB (had wentz with cam newton as backup). Picked up Jalen Hurts who pretty much won me the semifinal.
