Re: Music
The more I listen to Humanz, the more I like about 1/2 of it. Totally with you there. The songs are so hit-and-miss. The Now Now doesn't have anything that strikes me as a hit, but it's just, I don't know, consistent. Kinda like Demon Days, but not quite as good. And almost no collaborators - just ...

Re: Music
Gorillaz released The Now Now very quitely soon after their last album. Awesome dance music. And I usually don't like dance music.

Re: Kavanaugh accuser in a nutshell...
The nominating process for SCOTUS has become absurd. Yeah, the pubs definitely started it by refusing to consider Garland, which was a travesty.
This whole thing reeks of revenge for that.

Re: Kavanaugh accuser in a nutshell...
Seems like there's another allegation surfacing. Perhaps we could remember that this is not a trial, but a job interview. One which seems to be revealing that the would be employee is a high functioning alcoholic who has a gambling problem and some past unpleasant behavior with women. Would seem th...

Re: Flight regulations
That (safety) is the kind of thing that should be regulated.
Not things that just annoy people, like baggage fees and leg room.
The latter one is easier to sell to today's voters though. Democracy... Ugh.

This is ridiculous. So says you. Perhaps it is "ridiculous". Perhaps it's not "ridiculous". Do you feel it's "ridiculous" that a man who is being nominated for the highest court in the land is now being accused of inappropriate sexual behavior by another woman? Or do y...

did i miss it? somebody call for hill-dog to be placed in power? You do remember 2016? Dowdy the Clown and her colostomy bag? It wasn’t that long ago. Jfc, it is psych. I had hoped it would be someone capable of thinking outside what a few demagogues spew. Welp, so much for that. Makes sense now wh...

Flight regulations
https://www.cnbc.com/2018/09/23/congress-backs-giving-passengers-legroom-prevent-involuntary-removals.html Thank goodness they dropped the part about making it illegal to charge baggage fees. I got really annoyed when I heard about this. They kept the minimum legspace rule though unfortunately. I ha...

Re: Dumbfuck in charge
Hey, if you're proud of 6% unemployment, then you should definitely give yourself a high five. Less than 5% and steadily dropping when leaving office. As opposed to 7% and skyrocketing when taking office. As was widely argued at the time, there is a difference between dropping unemployment levels d...

Re: Late Night 2018
You sure about that? I've seem to remember reading plenty of instances about recruits visiting during games and sitting behind the benches and them talking about the ovations they got from the student section. No, not sure. I think the groupthink aspect also helps, having all the recruits in at onc...

Re: Late Night 2018
The biggest ovation at Late Night is when they bring out the recruits to their seats. You don't get an opportunity like that at a game.

Combine that with actual good employment news, and you’ve got something worth getting excited about. Obama was a Dumpster fire. Re: OFFICIAL WELCOME TO THE NEW SITE THREAD
I was thinking more a pdub suggestion box than Bill Self. Do you need a statue first?
I'd recommend removing the last visited and current timestamps. They take up too much space on mobile and don't add any value.
Also, it'd be nice to see on mobile who started the thread.
Both just nice-to-haves.
