Re: Charges
The Doubts Were Not Reasonable https://defector.com/the-doubts-were-not-reasonable Donald Trump committed crimes and a jury found him guilty. He was convicted on all counts Thursday, without much hesitation. "The only voice that matters is the voice of the jury," Manhattan District Attorn...

He is an adjudged sexual abuser.
He is an adjudged defamer.
He is an adjudged fraud.
He is a convicted felon, for election-related crimes.
He stands credibly accused of crimes against the Constitution and the national defense.
And he'll get 40% of the popular vote.

Hit a 10-legger French Open parlay yesterday. Go team. Haha that's wild My favorite thing to do - stepped-up parlays where you get a boost to 100% if you get to ten legs. Then I find in-scope heavy favorites, so I try to stack ten things that are all -400 or shorter. I think this is the fourth or f...

I don't think you're going to see big, flashy thinkpieces over it, but I think there will be a meaningful portion of his base that simply sits out (or logs protest votes). I think that portion will significantly outweigh any bump in R turnout.

Yes. And probably a net gain for the Rs, against Biden. Honestly, I wonder if there exists the apparatus for the parties to have a little "I will if you will" talk.DeletedUser wrote: ↑Thu May 30, 2024 4:33 pm Would someone else other than Trump running against Biden be a net gain for all of us? Re: Charges
Supreme Court to the rescue? Overturning a jury verdict is a tall, tall task. What you're going to hear from the right is bad-faith, ignorant bleating over the notion that the jury was not required to be unanimous on which crime the business records were falsified to cover up. While this is somewha...

Describing all of the hundreds of millions of people who live in the Middle East as "the enemy," though, does. Particularly when you would also be opposed to them having the ability to choose to live here instead of there.

Today was a good day for Trump’s prosecutors: the jury has requested precisely the evidence that ADA Steinglass told them in his closing to focus on that proves the election law conspiracy: 1. question isn't whether or not he did it, or whether or not the evidence exists ti prove he did it. It'd whether or not his people managed to get to at least 1 jury member. I generally agree. But I can’t imagine what little the defense put out there might have actually changed anyone’s mind. I feel ...
