Anyone remember what KJHK was called in the early 70s? I was an undergrad at Emporia State and we used to listen to it whenever we could tune it in. Their format was playing albums in their entirety but they included a lot of music that wasn't readily available to those of us in the flyover state.

I'm wondering how far back this goes, if it's just always been a part of the church, when did it start? I have a hard time believing it was the 50's or whenever. Read Rosseau's 'Pachomius' and Eco's 'The Name of The Rose' and you'll see that there were a lot more reasons than religion to align ones...
