Re: Video Games
Yeah - I've done that (icy-veins is my go-to site). Still just feels grindy once you get to the 50-60 range. Don't get me wrong, I don't want easy or simple for this, but I would like it to be more...fun? But I'm old and crotchety.

Re: Video Games
Starfield and BG3 are both great games. The turn-based style of BG3 isn't my favorite, but I played all the Bauldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights games back in the day, so familiar and still enjoy it. I've been happy with Diablo IV, but also somewhat disappointed. It is such a grind and you never fe...

Re: Chiefs 2023
I think they're the youngest defense in the league. No 'relatively' about it.
Sucks losing Bolton for 2 months, but still getting him back before the playoffs is fantastic.

Re: 2024
If you put a gun to my head today and asked me which one will most likely happen - it's the latter, unfortunately. They understand if they do the former, they might not win another federal election that matters in 20+ years. Although part of me believes (hopes) that if they truly abandoned the crazi...

Re: KCrim Slowness
Server resources, story of the week. I made a decision six months ago to have a team rip out it's code and replace it with a completely new implementation using a tool that it seemed like we were just slowly writing on our own unknowingly (dbt, for those curious). We're just using it in a way that ...

I remember the day they announced Grbac would be starting over Gannon in the playoffs. Still pisses me off.

My Indian friends pronounce the 'x' in their names with the 'sh' sound, so....every time I see Xitter and Xitler it makes me giggle.

Outside of the obvious prosecution of the perp, one related result I would like to see is a significant increase in oversight of how a president handles and manages confidential and top secret documents and information. The fact they can and have (intentionally or mistakenly) removed these documents...

Sorry - it was 31, not 32 instances. I edited the above to reflect the correct number. My mistake.

Re: Where's the FL Gov Ron DeFascist thread?
In 2014 there was a study of the past (at the time) 1 BILLION votes case at all levels (federal, state, local)... You remember 2014 - when there really weren't many states that required ID to vote. You know what the study found? There were 31 instances of voter fraud. OUT OF 1 BILLION FUCKING VOTES....

jump through hoops? you have to have an ID. crimanintly Of all the things to equate the two things to, that's what you went with?....sheesh. You do know it's not exactly easy to get an ID in red states, correct? In the St Louis area for example, they've shut down most full-time testing locations to...

I think the '86 team definitely gets a mention as one of the top teams at KU to not win it all. It was the '97 team before the '97 team, except it actually made the Final Four. Just sayin'

Re: SUPERBOWL CHAMPS
I'm just wondering if the Chiefs will pay Chris Jones. I'm about 60/40 that Sunday was the last game he's played in a Chiefs uniform. Which sucks, but if they can trade him for multiple picks to an NFC team that needs to rebuild their defense (cough cough Lions), then I think they might pull the tri...

Re: Super Bowl LVII
It’s why it’s probably better, even though Hurts market is very high coming off a game like this, to lock him in for a long term deal now, before the cap continues to increase and QBs salaries continue to climb. CnB ( I hope he posts again ) has spoken of how massive Mahomes contract was but how go...
