I've seen Thomas off the board anywhere from 15 to 23 in most drafts. But sure, IF he was there when the Chiefs picked then I'd love to see the Chiefs snag him. I think one of the two Texas WRs seems more likely.

Re: Uncle Joe
I suppose this is another good time to once again bring up that whole “Dems fund far-right candidates” sort of issue? https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/09/12/democrats-interfere-republican-primaries/ And? When one of your opponent has insane ideas, the best thing you can do is shine a li...

Re: Uncle Joe
But the GOP has built corruption into their base model because they know that on their merits alone, they would not win enough federal elections to remain relevant nationally. Their messaging of core principles requires an unprecedented level of corruption. It's so wild to me that some of you truly...

Re: 2024/2025 Lineup
Dayton transfer Koby Brea, who led the nation in 3pt fg%, announced that is down to five schools; Kansas, Duke, Carolina, UConn and Kentucky. He would probably get more minutes at Kentucky or Duke, who have very few players on next year's rosters at this point but he would be a nice addition for KU.

Re: Uncle Joe
One party is dramatically more corrupt and has sold out than the other. If telling yourself it is the Dems helps you sleep, that is on you. That's insane. They are crazy levels of corruption in both parties Any level of corruption is "crazy" in the context of discussing them individually ...

Re: Quitting my job today
My first car, a 53 Chevy station wagon, cost me $25. I bought it from a friend 2 weeks before I turned 16 and parked it in my driveway. The morning I turned 16 I woke up and one of the tires was flat. I jacked the car up, rolled the tire to the Phillips 66 at the end of the block, (don't remember w...

Re: Quitting my job today
I didn’t want him to pay for the tires. I told him the repayment would be to help someone he finds in a similar situation. I ran in to wash my hands, and when I came out, there was $150 under my windshield wiper. Good kid. I also taught him how to change his first tire. Having an exhaust jack and c...

A modest proposal by Jared Kushner.....WWJaredD? Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner has offered his own solution to the mass bloodshed and displacement in Gaza: some good, old-fashioned real estate development. During an interview with Tarek Masoud, the faculty chair of Harvard’s Middle East I...

I realize there's a lot of corruption within both parties, like any rational person A few of you (you know who you are) seem to think only one party is the problem and the other party is the solution. And that's the most brainwashed shit I've ever seen More making up fake narratives and then finger...

Re: Chiefs Offseason 2024
ESPNs latest mock: “Chiefs get: No. 24 Cowboys get: Nos. 32, 95 and 159 Kansas City GM Brett Veach isn't shy about moving up for prospects that he likes in Round 1. We've seen it in past years, with K.C. trading up for players such as Patrick Mahomes and Trent McDuffie. So why not do it again for a...

Looks like roach to baylor is official https://twitter.com/CBKReport/status/1782181321076301941?t=EFojHI5abMQv2uAMeC_cwg&s=19 I mean, it's whatever, but Dickinson's tweet to Roach was kind of dumb because I'm not sure Bill and staff were even interested, but now that Roach signed with a confere...

Re: 2024/2025 Lineup
Roster shakeups have always been a part of the game. NIL and the portal have accelerated the shakeups, so they apparently happen more, and more quickly. I know it feels gross. But, just trying to be glass-half-donut-full here, it’s actually kinda made the offseason a little more entertaining. There...

Re: 2024/2025 Lineup
I am OK with trading up on Kugel. And we're trying to land the #1 PG in '25, Acuff I think his name is. I agree; it kind of feels like Bill and staff were a little trigger happy with Kugel...he could end up being a very good player, but I think there's equal chance he ends up lost on the bench. I t...

Once again, a helluva response to a post about gaslighting, twocoach. If you REALLY want me to give you the reason, AGAIN, it’s that I don’t think we should trust the Ukraine war narrative cuz so many other war narratives turned out to be untrustworthy too. That’s teed up for you now. If you want m...

Re: 2024/2025 Lineup
I still feel like Bill needs to get another big out of the portal, unless he really thinks Zach is the answer. KU has Dickinson, Adams, Clemence and Bidunga so I think they are all set for bigs. No need to get any more as I can see more situations where Bill only goes with 1 big on the floor now th...

Re: Let’s have a war!
Goddamnit you guys. I was gonna just lay off this thread. I really was. So, let me just say, the gaslight is burning bright today. The truth is, I have plenty of tangible reasons for my beliefs. I don’t want this narrative to fit! But, if I may say so as non-gaslighty as possible, and since fish al...
