I like the Goff hire because I think the combination of learning under Jim Phillips at Northwestern and having experience at KU is valuable.

It wouldn't surprise me to see the North Texas coach as a lead candidate at Texas Tech either.

Brandon McKissic just committed to Florida and rumors are KU pulled their offer. Maybe they feel like they have a great shot at TyTy. If not there are still plenty of talented guards in the portal.

I bet we hear the name pretty soon, whether that's official or the insiders put it out there. Everything moving pretty fast, I imagine the Bill Self contract extension is a sign the AD search is wrapping up.

Have to think this is a signal that the AD search is almost done. I understand at Kansas the AD gets to be pretty hands-off with men's basketball. I would guess Self either knows who the new AD is or at least approves of whoever the finalists are. Plus this probably makes the AD job more attractive....
