Re: 2024

Trump is both loved and hated very extremely. But neither of that applies to me because I'm not voting for him, as I've said before. My complaint is that the dems have no plan to beat him with a better candidate.

Re: Another mass shooting

Actually, this is another teaching moment where I think this applies. People who blame guns for this are in the left line.

Re: Another mass shooting

lol, those stats just prove what I was stating. 45% of people families in the 1970s owned guns as apposed to 42% in 2023. But the other problem is, you completely ignored the other facts I mentioned. Guns were far easier to access back in 1975. People were just less sick back then because we had rea...

Re: Another mass shooting

Fascinating that we had much more relaxed gun laws and more guns in the 1970s, yet these sort of things didn't happen. Maybe, just maybe, there's another explanation for what is making people do this.

Re: Major housing crash coming this winter or sooner

It was obviously a joke, in reference to your statement about people not making it in California. It's not actually that hard to make it in California. If it were, we wouldn't have so many stupid people living out here.

I first read it as a "shove" and felt like I was click baited. I didn't see a shove. I wasn't even sure it was an intentional bump. But yeah, the guy is old and you have to be careful around him.

Re: 2024

Speaking of what happened in Los Angeles in 2008-2012, it wasn't a crash in one year. Declines of 10-15% happened many years, which some areas dropping 20% in 2009. After 5 years of declines, that's when you can say it "crashed". Real estate moves slow, but it does move.

Re: 2024

Well, homes are actually falling in price faster now than they were in 2006/07 when the last crash happened. You have to know (or should know) that home prices take years to bottom out. I'm sure you knew that.

There are no current plans to replace Biden "very late in the year".
Let's see about that in a few months. ;)

Re: 2024

I should add that I would love to see the democrats actually run a guy that is more honest and that people are excited about. RFK Jr. could have destroyed Trump in a debate. But the problem is, every single one of them is part of the same fabric that people are tired of. They need a Vivek.

Re: Chiefs 2023

I was a little skeptical when he first appeared, as I thought he might be one of those really gifted athletic quarterbacks but would struggle to do what Montana did. Glad to be wrong.

Also, went to MCI this year and wow it has changed. The restaurants are much better now.

How weird is it now that we live in time where the Chiefs getting to the super bowl is just as regular normal thing. Never thought I'd see this happen.

Re: 2024

Word on the street is Biden will be replaced very late in the year. Sounds like it will be either Gavin Newsom or Michelle Obama. Both of them are wildly unpopular so it would be amusing to see them lose. Any other possible changelings? The problem the democrats face is that even the people who hate...

Re: 2024

Well, I'm not a libertarian, so I assume that wasn't in regards to me. The biggest market factor was the Fed, which should not have put rates at zero for so long. That's what allowed too many people to borrow a huge amount of debt that many will not be able to repay. Now that the FFR is above 5%, ba...
