Re: Chiefs 2023

Chiefs vs Buffalo was a close game last time. Mahomes is pissed at the world about the last game. Pacheco is back, and Buffalo is dinged up even more than before. In a game expected to be decided by < 1 a field goal, the Bill's placekicker has lost his mojo. I know what my heart wants. My money is g...

Re: NFL 2023

Dang. Buffalo is getting beat up on this snow in the seats situation. The snow is going to be flying today. I’m watching ESPN and they showed a video of a family from Pittsburgh where the Parent is trailblazing through an aisle of seats that has had zero Snow Removal. I quote the talking head who sa...

A single stage goes faster too. Those double stages crawl around like snails. The guy across the street is still doing sidewalks and the time it takes me to do a long driveway.

Re: NFL 2023

I was tired of cursing the plow services and having to do the shoveling myself anyway. For the price of one year's snowplow service, I bought myself a snowblower and have not looked back. It is fun. I am up early and out in the elements walking the dog anyway, so it is not like I don't know how to d...

Re: NFL 2023

I am feeling like a bad fan. This morning I was offered a ticket to the game and I declined it. Had I had more notice to scrounge up appropriate gear, I would have done it. But it was too last minute.

Re: NFL 2023

I slept in nursing a sore back. I am not as young as I think. There was enough snow to get out a snowblower, but when it snows off-and-on all day, you keep the paths open with a shovel. I have a baby snowblower (ie single single-stage) for speed so the end of the driveway must be done by hand. aaaaA...

Their colors are black and gold and they come from SEC territory. Plenty to not like.

Re: Jason Bean

Thank you, all. So in naively assuming that getting to the right spot at the right time is easy, I failed to consider that the receiver also needs to be open when he gets to the spot. That requires reading the defense to devise the best plan, doing the fakes and cuts to create separation, and then t...

Re: Jason Bean

This sets up my naïve and honest question, why is being a "good route runner" such a big deal for certain NFL receivers? I was not a football player, so educate me. You follow directions and get the timing right. Is there another part(s) to it, or is that somehow so difficult it gets its o...

Not gonna lie, one of my favorite things over the last few years has been seeing non-KU Chiefs fans very much become the spoiled, entitled fans they've criticized for decades.

Re: Bill Self w/ 2

SO MANY TIMES he tried to put the team on his back and it was very hard to watch as he got eaten up. For the record: From the beginning of conference play his Junior season until the end of his career Sherron Collins lost 7 total games. 3 games his entire senior season. I didn’t say Kansas lost the...

Re: Bill Self w/ 2

Fran's question was, "if you could only have one point guard to run your team during the Bill Self era, who would it be." Fran eliminated Chalmers because he was a 2 guard. I am making the assumption that the question refers to my team being a COLLEGE team (so I do not give a rat's ass abo...

Re: Medical Issues

And then a lot of jobs became sitting at desk in front of computers. And Covid pushed the technology to allow most of those and others to at least partially remote. In addition, advances in medicine now allow a lot of people that would ordinarily have been dead by now to still be breathing, but they...
