KU leaves, Big 12 adds 3-4 teams such as BYU, Houston, etc.....

Baylor becomes the new top dog and team from Texas. The newer version of the Big 12 would give those teams a great shot at being in the college football playoff every year.

The Kansas Jayhawks will be in a new conference soon. And all signs pointing to B10 and plenty of national guys seem to be on board with it. I think the Big 12 probably stays together in some form, but if KU is in it, then KU is stupid. It will become a glorified mid-major.

When this all was going down in 2010 the first time, they were stating the end goal was 4 huge conferences. Sounded stupid then, but obviously seems to be the way things are going.

So if the Big12 collapses and we get an invite to join the B1G, I'm guessing the B1G would "demand" we upgrade our football stadium immediately or within a time period, say 5 years. What's the word on the Memorial Stadium upgrade? Isn't it around $250M? Getting an invite to the B1G would ...

Good news for KU. I expect that this will lessen the volume of elite recruits that choose to play for The Brotherhood, leaving more good players to filter down to Kansas. It will be interesting to see how Scheyer does there for the next few years. I wouldn't put money on him being the Duke coach 10...

The 03 team played UNC in the regular season. It was in a tournament or something early in the year.
