Re: Let’s have a war!

Especially on a day when he called Zelensky "Vladimir," and needed a cheat sheet to say hello. Gee, his name is Volodymyr and not Vladimir so maybe that is a HUGE gaffe - for someone who has a speech impediment - or is just brain dead? Either way, I'm surprised you beat randy to it. Then ...

Re: 2023-2024 lineup

Yeah it was me. What 5 star non-wing guards has Self had? Chalmers, Selby, Dotson. Selby was unable to practice early because of injury. Chalmers and Dotson were decent and played a ton. So let's set that as the expected value for Jackson. Morris we know more about, and he was very disappointing. Mo...

Re: Patriotism

The rejection of my "hate America" statement is fair.

What I'm getting at is somewhere between that and simply criticizing the government.

Patriotism

Every thread here, perhaps rightly considering the context, is really negative. So I wanted to start a positive one, this one a pro-American one. Not like the ignorant kind saying it's the best country ever. But both sides seem to hate America these days. The thing that made me start this was sittin...

I like just walking along the creek, and randomly popping off the trail. It's so peaceful and naturey and suddenly you're back in the city.

They have that in SLC??

I was pleasantly surprised to see them in the Chicago area. Casey's was one of the few things I missed about Iowa.

Agreed, but would add that Morris really just wasn't impressive last year. Really bad decisions. And that's the best way to get a seat next to Bill.

It is caramelized sugar, hence, caramel. Words mean things. Sorry to annoy you. Words mean things, as determined by the dictionary. Which says both pronunciations are right. "ˈkärməl,ˈkerəməl,ˈkerəˌmel" https://www.google.com/search?q=define+caramel&oq=define+caramel&aqs=chrome..6...

Re: Exercise/fitness

but if we're gonna pick a single culprit to scapegoat, I'll say sugar. Can we also blame the gummint that told us for 40 years to eat a shitton of grain but to eat fat (and even protein) sparingly? They stopped doing that and obesity rates continue to rise. It's not the what, it's the how much. And...

Re: Exercise/fitness

Not that I think there is causation there. It's moreso that both political party and obesity are two things that correlate to rural vs urban. I dunno I've seen a lot of fat people on both sides of the aisle in both rural and urban settings....I think its less political and more....societal... Yeah,...
