Re: Another mass shooting

So...what you're saying is that there really is just a single, solitary thing that all mass shooters - every last one of them - have in common? Let me chime in here. I believe that people who commit murder be it a single murder or mass murder are mentally unbalanced. Too bad there is not more empha...

But, I dunno what it says about his mentality if he’s rather bolt (for a likely lesser school) than stay and compete for minutes at a blue blood
We have no idea what was said to him by Self.

Re: Are we better than last year?

If this doesn’t go well, it’s quite the risk from Self. I mean, he has a loooottttt of leeway but it could be very sour. And that's the thing...if we'd kept everyone who's transferring plus the recruits, and had a bad year...it'd be easier to stomach than if we have a bad year after playing boggle ...

Re: Are we better than last year?

2 returning players from a team that only had 3 guys move on to the next level. And we have a coach whose strength is NOT getting new guys immediately ready.

Even if we're more talented....I have much lower expectations. And my excitement level is about as low as it's ever been.

This is from a student group. I think the headline and tweet are pretty misleading. I agree that the tweet is misleading -- first and foremost by blurring the lines between trans and nonbinary. That said, I'm not sure why you say that it's a student group. The link goes to the CU Center for Inclusi...

Re: Pronouns

This is from a student group. I think the headline and tweet are pretty misleading. I don't think a student group is THE voice of any university. This wasn't a declaration from the chancellor. It's not some codified university rule on student conduct with consequences. A group of, likely well intent...

This is same crap that’s wrong with our political party system, fish. Either with or it against us. Why not hold accountable and give shot at change without cancelling his livelihood? I agree with what you're saying. But "livelihood" seems melodramatic. It's a pretty cushy gig when you ca...

You don't even need to tax wealth. You just need to redifine what income is. Close the loopholes that they're using to not pay taxes. If I get a job and get paid, it's income. Fine. If I referee some games on the weekend and earn some extra cash, the gov't says that's "income". I say it's...

Really? In a thread where you're praising a guy as a savior for wanting to collect the nickels and dimes of overpaid gov't employees, you're also going to act like billionaires paying 8.2% effective income tax rates is a meaningless drop in the bucket? Also, why am I paying 37% ? It's good for the ...

Pretty sure gun owners are more likely to accidentally shoot oneself than ever successfully thwart any bad guy. Also pretty sure most gun deaths are self-inflicted. Yes. The stats bear out that having guns in the house increases, not decreases, the likelihood that someone in the house will get shot...

There's never been a poster on here who sucks like randy. He's in a class by himself. Ousdahl is at least occasionally mildly entertaining. randy has never posted a single worthwhile thing and he's the most morally reprehensible person on here.
