I am very shocked by this announcement from Jay Wright. He will be missed. A class-act of a coach, for sure. I always felt that if Bill left for some reason, we should go after Jay because he was a great coach and seems like a great person as well.

I know what you mean! It was bizarre playing against Bryce Thompson and Tristan Enaruna this past season. Just happy that we came out on top in those games.

After the loss at TCU, this team really locked in and played with a chip on their shoulder for the rest of the season. Overall, I would give our performance for the season a B+

I thought Hunter just looked like he was on a different level than the other ISU players watching him live. The ISU fan I was sitting next to said he was concerned this would happen. I'd take him in a heartbeat. He probably would have been preseason All Big 12 had he stayed at ISU. Likely plays 2+ ...

I agree. Self seemed looser during this tournament run and it rubbed off on the team. Now that he has a couple of titles, it should become even easier to do it again, knowing that the pressure is off.
