Re: Official Crimson/Blue Fest 2023 invitation
Meow Wolf looks trippy. Thanks! 99, I am pretty stoked about this road trip. She has just finished sophomore year of college. We are at that point where she knows all sorts of things I don't know she knows and had all these experience away from home that I am unaware of. I am REALLY looking forward ...

Re: Official Crimson/Blue Fest 2023 invitation
Thanks for the info! I have never been to any of those areas. I had always wanted to bike Moab (back when I biked), and it looked close-ish. No lie, Casa Bonita is in the news today. It is supposedly reopening with a fresher smell. As a JoCo kid that did group ski trips, a stop at Casa Bonita on the...

Re: Official Crimson/Blue Fest 2023 invitation
Ousdahl, what would one do to blow the socks off a 20-year old on their last day of a Colorado vacation in the Frisco area? We need a finale. Early August. Preferably free or cheap. We need something to fill between sunrise at Arches National Park and the Denver Airport. There is 24-48 hours in betw...

Re: COVID-19 - On the Ground
Wow. When I saw covid coming, this is the first place I left.
I found lots of things to do and people to help. This place is for short bursts of time and a shot of KU basketball that is unavailable locally. I needed neither during Covid. To each their own.

Are you sure you know what a screw is? Typically the bring it home and assemble it stuff is bolts with washers. Those things come loose. You can just plan on tightening things up every 6 months or so as preventative maintenance, try some loctite, or get a locking washer. I'd just tighten them up reg...

Re: Totally random thread
Were they that dumb or was this intentional to try and weasel me out of more money? I am not sure I want them back on my property. If I tell them I am not giving them anything more, do they do a shitty job fixing the correct side and cut corners to try to recoup some of their costs? Perhaps, since I...

Re: Totally random thread
Y''ll remember that a tree that fell on my house in a blizzard? Well, a roofing crew finally got around to replacing half the roof yesterday (a lot of roofs needed work). It was one of the neighbor's fir trees that fell, and a little branch poked through the roof (it looks like a knife handle sticki...

I flat out did not know that Nike shoes were not a thing (except for runners) until Jordan. I guess I was too young to know that.

The Springs are nice that time of year. Check out the deck at Cerberus Brewing, the food and beer are good. The Owner is a friend of the Empire's Party Garage Bill. You should take Highway 50 from Canon City to Salida ( it is the scenic Bighorn Canyon route) and check out that town on the way. Grea...

Re: Finding New Shit on TV
At the time, Dancing with Wolves was the first movie where I left the movie feeling like shit. It does not have a happy ending like movies typically do. The grand scenery and accompanying music were fantastic. There was realism that we were not yet used to seeing in movies. I have never been a fan o...

Bring the two-year old! Bring the partners and family and doggos. All you have to do is keep them out of the fire pit. It is peak time in Colorado for a vacation. And it won't be ALL basketball. We have the world's problems to solve. Just relax. Beautiful place, local guides, space if you need it. I...

good that she’s on the mend my company is actually looking at antibody therapies against the ever-growing list of resistant bacteria and fungi that keep popping up. having done some deep research dives into some of these, it’s a good thing she’s got something that’s treatable It's interesting - hav...
