Hawklin provided more relevant hoops content then the rest of us combined. Regardless of where you stand on the extracurriculars, if its a value argument hawklin wins everytime.

I'm not aware of any rules that he broke.

He had a differing opinion from the majority around here and a bunch (mostly people who ONLY post on the politics bored) of people ganged up on him and were huge dicks to him and he left.

I'm not sure anyone argued with hawklin any more than I have, but we were always civil. I'm not defending anything he said or did, but he at least contributed to KU sports talk...which imho is what the message boards are supposed to be about.

It's great though that the people who bring so little to the bored won that one, because hawklin had the audacity to do things like, gasp, defend lobster.

Not sure what went on behind the scenes with him as a mod. But Vega publically aired their dirty laundry on the dotnet to try to make hawklin look bad...for all I know, hawklin was a total douche, but Vega went public with shit that was sent in private and I think that also made hawklin not want to post anymore.


but the politics bored is as lively as ever, so there's that.

Oh, and we have twocoach instead of CnB so, everything's peachy.
