See ya Chuck

Feel bad for Charlie. I am sure he came here with much higher expectations. Sure didn't play out as he or Bill anticipated.

Poor kid. I wish him the best, but I'll be honest in that I was always nervous when he was in.

If you think about the 5 worst scholly players that Self offered, all of them came via the west.

Moore
Cunliffe
Woolridge
Adams
Lindsey

Yes, let's stop recruiting from the west coast.

Yes, why I used “via.”

Of course we shouldn’t stop recruiting the west, but I do think there is a cautionary lesson in here that rotation minutes player at pac-12 school doesn’t mean jack.

Rod Stewart worked out ok.

But shoot, how did staff miss so big?

How did Charlie ever put up double digits at cal?

I mean Rod did an admirable job of filling in for Rush while he was hurt but even he was nothing more than a rotation player during his time at KU.

I had high hopes for Charlie but that was a huge disappointment.

Haven’t watched much of his time when he was at Cal but it seemed like he got his by putting up volume shots, off of ball screens and he was essentially given a green light to shoot at all times.

Well so far we have such an outstanding recruiting class coming in next year, this shouldn't impact anything....(for lobs).
