Neither our FB team nor Long are in Norman. He's riding w/ them to Topeka.

There's a hoops game tonight.

I think KU travels by bus to the Oklahoma schools when they play there.

Never mind. I see that there is a flight leaving Topeka Regional at 2:00pm to fly to OKC Will Rogers.

IF he comes AND IF he is any good, you may have to change your spelling...

No doubt a much bigger deal than hiring a guy who won 0, 2, 1, and 3 games a season.

There is buzz going around Wazzu that Mike Leach might be on the move as well.

If KU is going for the shake up hire, hell go all in on the Pirate.
Oh God Mike Leach would be a dream hire, a knock-it-out-of-the-park success.
On the other hand...

University president Kirk Schulz estimated Wednesday that Leach's tweet cost the school over $1 milllion and then a spokesperson later confirmed it was $1.6 million, reports the Times.

"As the president mentioned, no one who had made a cash gift has asked for their money back," Marketing and Communications Vice President Phil Weiler said. "We did have five donors let us know that they had altered plans for their future giving, however. These were primarily estate gifts that would have been paid out upon the donor’s death. These planned estate gifts totaled $1.6 million."

From what I heard is that Meachum was never a Bender fan. The rotating quarterbacks this year and last was a power struggle between Beaty and Meachum. Meachum didn't help the situation but his insistence was because Beaty was always pushing Bender.

Goodbye David.

Yeah Beaty was obsessed with Bender. He could spin it you know. I actually was posting on twitterwhen Beaty was first fired about Les Miles HC record and all that, and talking about how successful he has been. Carter Stanley liked it out of the blue. Beaty didn't like Stanley, and I think the feeling is mutual. Will be interesting to see what new people can do with Stanley.

Meanwhile Clayton Tune. Former commit is a true freshman playing for Houston right now. 14-33. 216 yards and 3 TDs with no INTs. Sigh...
