Yacht Club and West.

Both within walking distance.
That's odd. I thought I used to see you at the Jet Lag as I passed by?
These days, I like Johnny's. Short walk to my BFF's.

One of my best friends at KU is named Brandy and I swear on my life and my mother's life she was probably considered one of the finest girls at KU. Anyone who was at KU in the mid 80s and laid eyes on her can and will attest to that.

Moving right along.....
Always had a feeling Johnny's was a hangout for "white supremacists". Still true?

It was a biker bar before the rugby team took it over.

November 29th, 1986. More than 400 people wait in line at Johnny’s Tavern at 7:30 am for the last time as it changed from a beer bar to a private club due to changes in liquor laws.

I only went there once, but the 7th Spirit Club, in the bowels of the Opera House, was pretty special.

Louise's on Mass was the place Kansan reporters would gather on Friday afternoons for "Press Club" after the staff meeting. Made for some really long, and short, Friday nights. I DJ'd at KJHK on Friday night's from 10 p.m.-midnight during my last summer in Lawrence and drunkenly skipped many a needle across record fumbling in that tiny studio.

Still think 18 year olds should be able to drink 3.2 beer. Is 3.2 still available?
