Re: NFL Offseason 2020
Gronk wants to come back. But wants to play with Brady in TB. Has to be traded and NE and TB have been in talks and deal could get done soon before draft.

Re: NFL Offseason 2020
If a player retires and then comes back, I say he should have to buy out his contract.
Looks like Gronk and a 7th rounder to the Buccs for a 4th rounder.
I have one thing to say about that. GO BEARS and GO CHIEFS!

Since it’s draft day, I’ll drop this here.
Joe Burrow will be a bust.

Re: NFL Offseason 2020
Cracks me up that people still put any stock in Jimmy Johnson's draft points chart, which is laughably outdated because of CBA/cap matters.
https://www.pro-football-reference.com/ ... _value.htm
The chart says that the 32nd pick is only incrementally more valuable than the 33rd pick, for example. There is a HUGE value distinction between the two, in that you get a 5th year team option on a guy you take at 32, but not at 33.

Re: NFL Offseason 2020
Chiefs are a prime candidate to move down for this exact reason. For example, if Jordan Love from Utah State is not taken yet, expect a team that needs a QB to be aggressive to move to 32 to get that 5th year option. Baltimore did that a few years ago with Lamar Jackson (They traded with NE) Expect a team like Indy to be ultra-aggressive to get a QB of the future if they go with best available with their first round pick.jfish26 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2020 10:47 am Cracks me up that people still put any stock in Jimmy Johnson's draft points chart, which is laughably outdated because of CBA/cap matters.

Re: NFL Offseason 2020
The Chiefs really are in perfect position tonight. They don't really have a "need" I could argue for an interior offensive lineman, but that's beside the point.
They can trade for a team that needs a QB for a 5th option. They fall back, still get a good player in round 2, and will likely get an additional 2nd round pick.
They can trade up if they find a guy they REALLY like. Word is they might trade up to get a WR because Watkins and Robinson likely won't be in KC in 2021. Hill isn't getting any younger and Kelce is 31.
They can draft best available player. Whether that be at IOL, LB or CB, they will have options.

Re: NFL Offseason 2020
Jalen Hurts is only guy that would fit non first round QB prospect at 32. I wouldn't want my team making that move.

I really hope KC trades down.

Re: NFL Offseason 2020
I personally think they will unless Patrick Queen from LSU is there.

Re: NFL Offseason 2020
There are so many good skill position players, there are some great options at other positions. Would not mind seeing another 4.25 WR, or an OL/DL/CB

Re: NFL Offseason 2020
Why there were rumors earlier this week about Chiefs trading up to get Ruggs. He's so fast and so good. Don't think they'll ultimately do it. They can get a Jalen Ragor from TCU or something like that in the 2nd round.

Ruggs will be wearing purple and gold.

Re: NFL Offseason 2020
I’d be happy for you. Just worry about Cousins getting him the ball in stride deep.

Re: NFL Offseason 2020
Whoa. Lot of people had Ruggs as the 3rd or 4th WR.
Re: NFL Offseason 2020
I'm just glad the Chargers and Raiders didn't get Isaiah Simmons or Derrick Brown.
