I was talking about a principle that can very quickly lead in other more drastic directions. Surely your brain isn’t so badly pickled by this point that you can understand that.

Or maybe not.

Probably not.

Nevermind.

You should hope I’m wrong.
Well you recite it from whatever website is feeding you this nonsense so convincingly.

As stated by others, there are already global e-currencies like bitcoin etc... They mostly exist so that con men can make money off of rubes that fall for lame conspiracy theories.

Imagine being out of favor and having your access to your accounts cut off because of a low social credit score. Imagine having your utilities cut off or your ability to travel limited. It’s coming.
That isn't what happened here. Visa stopped allowing them to accept Visa debit and Credit cards as forms of payments. That does nothing to their access to their own bank accounts.

My guess is that the vast majority of the "screening" by Visa he claims is also incorrect. I deal with Visa every single day at work. He gives them far too much credit. Normally, I am surprised that they aren't five guys with a server in their garage. They are not very well organized as an organization. Their systems are pretty archaic and few of their systems communicate well with other systems in their own company.

My last certification testing session with them was mind boggling in its level of frustration.

It prevents or limits the ability of people to patronize or support the platform financially. Why? Because it is almost impossible to use non-electronic means of doing business today.

Visa is not law enforcement. They didnt arrest the company. Their First Amendment rights were not infringed upon in any way. Visa's terms of usage are VERY strict, especially in this country. Porn websites are typically run through companies outside of the US, allowing them to skirt some of the rules Visa requires.

Visa did not eliminate their ability to receive electronic payments. It sounds like they are simply having problems finding a processor willing to work with their shady company and are blaming it on Visa. Pretty typical. The Marijuana industry tried to run Visa through the ringer like this when they first opened too. They found ways around it; your friend here will, too. Con men always find another grift that works.

But damn it, but now it is "conservatives" and their neo-nazi friends/kin that are being affected!

That's not fair!

How dare those companies following the Alex Jones InfoWars model of fleecing idiots for every drop they can get out of them not be fully supported by Visa!

• A meeting on whether to enact a mask ordinance in the tourist town of Branson, Mo., went on for more than eight hours Thursday as dozens of residents shared their suspicions of public health experts, the healthcare system and data on the spread of the virus. Speakers invoked the Bible, rejected research showing masks can slow the spread of the virus and embraced conspiracy theories about everything from the so-called “deep state” to Bill Gates. In the end, the board of aldermen voted unanimously to postpone a vote. “Some of the wackiest stuff I’ve ever heard in my life — over wearing a mask,” Branson Alderman Bill Skains said.

My county had a much shorter discussion, but the commissioners didn't call it wacky, they seemed to accept the anti-science stuff and all the myths about the virus, like "All the old people aren't dying of it, they're just writing that down to make people think it's a problem."

We're all wondering what they're going to do when required to wear a mask at Walmart and Publix, the local grocery chain. Lordy!
