I hope MU wins

tonight against K-State. I don't care about MU anymore. Their program is and feels irrelevant. KSU, on the other hand, wants the world to know how fabulous they are this year. KSU -7.

Speaking of old times, I ventured onto .com awhile back and saw a post that announced that the user John_Brown had passed away. Sad to learn that. One of the originals and had such great passion for KU.

In his honor, this thread title should be deleted ASAP.

Why on earth would we want to make the big 12 look any worse than it already does this year by having our 2nd best team lose to Missouri? No thanks.

Illy,perhaps you haven't looked at KenPom's conference rankings where the Big 12 is #1. Or Sagarin where it is #3 but very close behind the B1G and ACC. So far this season Big 12 teams are a combined 30-4. It's not doing so bad as you make things sound.

I lived in the den of the tiger for 22 years between 1979-2001 (Jefferson City MO, 35 miles from Columbia). Those people are awful. I never root for MU in anything. And never will. See my signature line!

Help me out, we all win because we don't get to watch a ranked team (which may be our toughest competition in our conference) play against a team that was considered our rival?
Or is it because they are the two teams we aren't supposed to like?
Both? Neither?

It's funny to me that we "win" because we didn't get to watch the two teams play and yet we felt the need to comment on the game and have 18 posts and over 150 views about it.
If not being able to watch the game was winning, there is a whole lotta losing on this thread.
