Remember the whining from WVU fans last year after the game in Allen? Same scenario. Don't settle for jumpers while the other team attacks the rim and complain about the FT difference.

Yeah, in that regard, I can’t disagree.

At the same time, there were some ticky tack whistles, imagine that.

Duke guy drives, spin moves when he gets to the auburn defender, auburn guy in foul trouble leans back trying to not foul, foul on auburn anyway

What I learned tonight:

1. Jarrett Culver is the latest example that shows Beard can find and develop talent.

2. Since they left the Big 12, Nebraska fans have learned absolutely nothing about basketball. Booooooooooooo!!!!!!!!
Nice, Culver is a freshman combo guard, right?

What impressed you about his game?

OU with a good win today over Florida. Iowa State owning San Diego State early.

Sophomore wing. He's the dude that almost single handedly kept them in the game against KU in Lubbock last year. Every time Kansas went on a run, he seemed to make a play. Good thing Graham went AA in the 2nd half.

Horton-Tucker is going to be a good player for them. Going to be a good team when they get Wigginton back.

As ND said, he's a sophomore. Completely unrecruited last year along with Zhaire. Not much to not like. Plays off the ball and has NBA length for a guard. He always had the jumper but now he's hitting shots off the bounce and contested shots, attacking the rim, rebounding and getting some assists, too. It's his last year in Lubbock.

Horns over heels 92-89!

Texas tried their best to Memphis 2008 the game away. Carolina got a play with a second left but the Texas big guy guarding the inbound got his wingspan on it

That’s a shame. UNC was going to jump us too.

Wake Forest lost to Houston Baptist in OT. Danny Manning could be looking for a job soon if they don't get that cleaned up.

They'd be dumb to fire him. They're a stepping stone program. They should stick with him and be happy they have some stability.

Illini - They just lost to a team that was 6-25 last season and finished 2-16 in the Southland. There is no possible way to sugar coat that.
Danny deserves some credit for getting his team in the tournament two seasons ago (I'm still trying to figure out how/why other than they beat Louisville - yet beat no one else good) but he's 57-74 overall and 20-52 in conference (12th, 13th, 10th, and 14th place finishes). That's not really "stability" worthy but perhaps they know it's a super difficult job for whoever is their head coach and figure why bother changing and let's just deal with what is.

They seem to be stably cemented to the bottom of the ACC standings. Not the stability I think they were looking for.

Maybe if Townsend gets himself fired we can hire Danny back.
