And it’s kinda weird to say but Jalen’s got handles too
This is the kind of thinking that had garrett as our PG this year.

This feels like a two in the bush is better than one in the hand kind of gamble.

Unless Garrett is pushing himself out.

But then you look at guys like Malik Newman or to a lesser extent, Isaiah Moss.

One more impactful but both assets.

Even without a transfer, Harris and Bryce will be better and I think enough to lead a much improved team.

RussRob wasn’t so impactful his freshman year—you could see Harris taking a similar path.
I’d take Russ Rob in a heart beat. He did improve his sophomore year, but he also had Super Mario by his side.

But in both cases not until halfway into the season...

I guess we all better be patient with mystery new guy until mid-january

Exactly!

So we can all agree that what we have now and coming in next year SO FAR is not the answer? Correct?

No, we don’t have a dynamic sure fire PG next season.
But we have a bunch of talented guys who should all be back.

Think about what we thought of Jalen Wilson in October and think of him now.

I’m not arguing that. We’re way better now compared to the first game of the season.

Dave is way better than he was just a month ago.

What I am saying is that our pg issues are what turned this season of hope of a National tile into a season of many here saying “we may go to the sweet 16” type season. And if we don’t find an answer at pg, it’s going to be more of the same next season.

Yea, our PG was a issue this season, I think the biggest issue.

But also we had shooting issues from 1 to 5 and those numbers will all go up.

And freshmen like Bryce and Jalen will be big time players I think.

And I think it's fair to say russrob had a higher ceiling and didn't have the size limitations.

Russ had a 6'8" wingspan

Harris looks 5 years younger than everyone else in the court physically.

Russ Rob was legit...always loved the crowd piping in "From New York, New York" whenever he was introduced.

RussRob came in as a 5 star but didn’t play his freshman year much. He was 6’1 and 180 lbs.

Harris a 4 star. 6’1 and 170 lbs.

And I think both defensive minded distributors rather than scorers.

Yeah that was always something you HAD to yell when he was announced. I heard 65 year old blue hairs even doing it.

Probably the most fun player intro of the last 20 years.

That’s a top 5 team.
Also think of just the B12.
Texas will have NBA defections.
Tech should loose 2 starters.
Baylor will loose players including B12POY.
OSU looses their best player.
Don’t know what happens with Culver.

You could see how Kansas could be the front runners for the B12–and usually that means a 1 or 2 seed.
