Monoclonal antibodies are sitting around unused. Demand a dose if symptoms appear. Vaccination reaction are about four per million. Get the shot all of you. Lots of folks making a stupid grand gesture about not getting it.

It’s kinda funny that Biden said if we all get the vaccine then we can celebrate the 4th of July.

as if y’all ain’t gonna celebrate the 4th July however the hell you want regardless.

That was an opening for attack. The republican policy of 2021 is "how dare you tell us when we can be safely through the pandemic when misery loves company!"

Good luck, Trad.

I want to get it but none to be had in NorCal. I even have a letter from my employer that we’re considered “essential business”. Don’t know if my age group (>55) would come up first or essential worker. I’d rather wait and get the single vaccine shot than try to hurry the two shot

I was this way up until about a month ago.

Would rather have the one shot J&J, but the, IMO, incorrect pushback some places have against the J&J vax made me want the more widely accepted 2 shotters. I have about 4 different countries I want/need to get into without quarantine over the next year.

Might be something to consider.

Right, the same party that brought us Donald Trump. The guy who set the target date of LAST Easter for our country to be "opened up and just raring to go".

I’m not sure if the difference in efficacy data is really that significant. I’d also like to resume traveling. Since 2015 I’ve been 1K status on United (mostly business trips), peak travel in 2017/18. Practically lived in Northern Italy and France for most of 2017!! Had a great trip planned for Hungary, Slovakia, Austria and Germany in August/September last year. Had to cancel, but I want to do it, maybe next year.

the efficacy rates can’t be directly compared

the phase 3 trials weren’t designed the same, with the numbers and “types” of participants

I agree, but the backlash is real.

Hoping for the best Trad.

Kentucky is using the J&J vax for homeless and prisoners. Which makes sense.

I agree it makes sense because of logistics (one shot), but you need to be pretty careful stigmatizing the J&J shot as something less.

All three shots work, and this guy's arm will gladly take the first available.
