But Gonzaga is playing NDSU tonight. You know they were really good back in 09 when they gave KU a game. And then in 2015 when they played 2 seed Gonzaga to a 10 point game. So sick of this mid major program getting so much credit. Beat up on piss poor conference year in and year out (still less in a row than KU has in a power 5, fucking pathetic). Play maybe 1-2 tourney teams, get a top seed then fade away when the moment comes because it’s too big for you. Keep dreaming Gonzaga your moment is never going to come. Goodnight

You mean the program that won more NCAA tournament games the last 4 seasons than KU did and played in a National Championship game?

Honestly, his argument is better than most of the arguments for Gonzaga. If Newell's feeling is that the Top 25 should be a ranking of who he feels are the best 25 teams in the sport then I can respect that. Probably better than the Zags argument. But neither Gonzaga or Duke was in the good argument category.

He just wants to make sure everyone knows how unbiased he is. Even if he looks silly in the process.
I understand how/why he's doing it how he is, but to me that doesn't seem like the purpose of weekly rankings....but I couldn't care less about rankings. Especially in November.

I think a few more B12 teams ( Iowa State? WVU? Texas? ) will find their way there eventually.

From what I’ve seen, Iowa State looks to be ahead of KSU at this point. KSU defense has looked like good effort, but if the 3s aren’t falling, the half court looks mediocre.
