I thought to myself at the time, “Going for it. Good.” Then the punting team came, only to see a flag for not enough personnel on the line and a shank 17 yard punt.

I left and never returned and turned in season tickets at the 50 under the press box.
Remember that game. It was the summation of post-Mangino greatness

The following spring, I received a call from a WEF CSR at work asking for my final pledge payment, insinuating legal action. I gave her my address, when and where I may be served, and told her I had an iron clad affirmative defense. I then sent her a document preservation email.

Hahaha iron clad WEF threatening legal action on a non legal binding pledge. No wonder WEF gets such a bad name.

That is exactly the type of thing KU would do.

It isn’t going to happen, but I always liked Rick Neuheisel. He coached at Colorado for a long time as an assistant and head coach. He knows Lawrence culture. He can recruit.

So the kid who was probably going to start at QB for North Texas is at KU now.

So that's big. Like really big. 14 TDs to 5 INTs. Also ran the ball well.

That's the starting QB for 2021. And probably will be for a while.

Especially since Bean is bringing Clint Bowen with him from UNT.

Didn’t think about that. Too funny.

I think it's a premature to say he's a 3-year starter here. He seems like the type of recruit we usually get at QB. His stats are better than Jalon's this past season, but if they traded places, would they still be?

At worst, add him to the QB competition and hope that his pushes Miles Kendrick off the depth chart.

I think it would be great if Bean could come here and start. Give me a season with 1 QB and let Daniels, Easter, and Hawley have a proper redshirt year.

My thoughts too. He was really good at UNT. Dual threat. And he proved it. Nobody else on this roster has.

I knew you would be flicking your "bean" over this addition.
