Jayhawks in the NBA playoffs (2021)

Post by randylahey »

Thought it would be good to get some stats/highlights of this guys playing at the highest level. play-in round gives it a lowkey march madness vibe

Devonte has a big game tonight with the hornets against the Jazz. Then tomorrow weve got 4 jayhawks in the Lakers/Warriors game

Markieff and Mclemore for LA. Wiggins and Oubre on Golden state. (Oubre is hurt with a wrist injury right now)

Also in the playoffs are Embiid and the 76ers. (top seed in the east)
And Marcus Morris on the 4th seed in the west clippers

Devonte better have a few more of those 30-foot bombs if Charlotte is going to have a shot in hell; Pacers playing almost perfect.

What an awful start for Charlotte.

Azubuike with the Jazz too?
I know he played a few minutes the other night and am assuming he will be on the Playoff roster - but am not 100% sure.

Not saying the coaches are making a difference but.......
Borrego and Bjorkgren are not two guys I would want being my General if I was going to war.

That baby has a 90% chance of having a ridiculous name.

I agree with the last two posts but......

A. I think he feels he flourishes by being odd. Problem is taking odd to an extreme is usually not a good thing in the end. Like him or not, if and when you see him, he's probably going to get your attention.
OR perhaps to him he is perfectly normal and those such as us who live less "exotic" lives may be odd.

B. The irony is his wife's name is Shylyn or Shylnnitaa (depending on what source you use) and has been referred to as Shy or Shyy or Shhy (depending on what source you use). My guess is she's not too shy.
As far as the kid's potential name, I would think if they wanted to be shocking they might choose something "basic" such as William, James, Mary, or Nancy. If I was them I might go with Facetious or Crescenda.

C. They very well may be in love but let's not forget Kelly has a reputation - to uphold?

that was unfortunately the only shot devonte made in that game. 4 pts 4 ast 20 minutes. hornets got absolutely worked last night

but he had a solid year. 14.8 pts 5.4 ast a game in 30 minutes. numbers and minutes slightly down from last season but the hornets had a lot better team this year

Wiggs did his part.
Played most of the game.

Will be interesting to see what the Dubs do with their Jayhawks this offseason.

Yeah, pretty good stat line from wiggs.

But still, I hope he figures out how to be successful in the postseason.

Was he the second best player on that team this season, or was that Draymond?

I watched about half of this game.
Wiggs misses an awful lot of open shots for a former #1.
