Joe has been fine. I voted for him and he's been better than i expected. He's doing a good job with the shit show of a divided country (among other things) that he came into office with.

I mean, in some grander sense, definitely.

But within the Merican political spectrum, I’m a radical progressive.

It’s funny - I grew up conservative, and became liberal in college. All the old pubs said that’s normal, as I get older I’ll become conservative again.

But instead, as I’m getting older, instead of going from liberal back to conservative, I’m going from liberal to socialist.

As a whole, I’d say libs have a much better sense of humor than conservatives.

Except for Colbert.

I hope we can appreciate today’s press conference and it’s effect. Little by little, he is making Mitch McConnell limp.

Similar situation here, grew up christian conservative (farming community in Kansas). Shed all of that by the time I was 21-22 and started forming my own opinions/beliefs. I've very much a moderate/centrist now. I liked George W and I preferred McCain over Obama. And that's not to say I didn't like Obama, I did, I just thought he needed more experience before becoming president and I also thought McCain had all the necessary experience to be a very good president. I first started liking Obama when I saw this interview in 2004

But, all that said, there is just no way you can support the current Republican Party. They have become the Anti-Party, the Party of Hate and the Party of Evil. So, I'm essentially stuck with one party that I don't necessarily agree with all the time. It sucks. The GOP has fucked up so badly that I'm not sure they'll return to normalcy for a long time.

Dood was never a Republican to begin with, so there’s that.

I always kind of felt that McCain picked that dumb chick as VP to scuttle his own campaign when it became apparent that the economy was fucked to the 9s.

Classic RINO. Always talked a big Conservative game during campaign seasons and then voted with the Dims the rest of the time.

Always admired his service and sacrifice during Vietnam, but shook my head at the lack of integrity in his Congressional career. If you're going to be a Dim, stop lying to the people and just run as one.
