Yes i do.

You don't give a shit about leaving KState in the dust as we bolt for the Big10....They're a whole lot more on "our team" than Texas is. LOL

Texas is (was?) in our conference. They aren't on our team.

I don't either.

But it's different when you initiate the move de novo.

Similarly there's a difference between self defense and assault.

A conny is clearly a "team", almost by definition. That's what you just demonstrated you don't understand.

Neither, clearly (as their history has repeatedly shown), does TU.

Everyone is butthurt that teams keep leaving our conference. I get it. I just don't think any of you would be all "this is a team" if it was Kansas getting poached by better conferences.

KU didn't blow up the conference.

You're bringing up irrelevant points just to be contrarian.

How you claim to be a KU fan is beyond me.

You want to defend UT just to insult KU fans about hypothetical.

Stop trying to keep us in check about fantasy scenarios when we're talking about things that ACTUALLY happened.

It's been duly noted that you have disdain and a low opinion of KU fans. No need to keep bringing it up.

Go defend Tejas on a longhorns message bored.

so, to summarize:

KU fans are butthurt.

Ku fans are liars and hypocrites

You presume to know how ku fans would act in situations that haven't happened, but you assume it to be negative.

You defend IT

You characterize UT leaving and killing the conference as being "poached".

You're acting like a naked Scarlett Johansson seduced Texas and they had a moment of weakness, when the better analogy is they were sending dickpicks to some skank for months and months before she finally said, "OK, I'll blow you and your friend as long as you don't tell Texas a&m."

In this case, yes, and the current Big 12 looks like my mother. While I love my mother more than anyone else in the world, she's NOT a skank nor is she a Scar Jo.

Conny's have voluntary members, joined w the written, stated intent of sharing goals, administration, rules, events, and facilities.

Ideally, they also have a commitment to working w one another for their respective, mutual betterment.

See the BIG, Ivy, PAC, and SEC (where fans actually chant the conny's abbreviation at games).

So, "team".

A simplistic, narrow definition is what's making it hard for you.

You love to argue! I can dig it.

An athletic conference is a collection of sports teams, playing competitively against each other in a sports league. In many cases conferences are subdivided into smaller divisions, with the best teams competing at successively higher levels. Conferences often, but not always, include teams from a common geographic region.

Looks like John (Rocker) and Hoop Hawk (Illy) are having a difficult time dealing with and arguing about semantics. As the great Plano would say, JFC.
I can't say I 100% agree or disagree with either of them but at least they are providing some entertainment for me.
Sorry for the interruption. Carry on!

Good news ND contract with the ACC says if they join a conference is has to be the ACC. That contract is good to 2036.

Colorado departed for the Pac-12 in 2010, the same year Nebraska left for the Big Ten. The Aggies and Missouri left in 2011 after Texas and ESPN announced plans for the Longhorn Network, which pays Texas $300 million over 20 years for its own television deal separate from the other conference members.

Texas has always been about Texas and Fuck everyone else. Problem is we had 10+ years to better ourselves in football. After hiring two out right clowns(Fat Boy Charlie for sure) we hire a coach that no school in their right mind would hire and pay him accordingly there by showing the whole world we don't give a Fuck about Football. Then when we finally walk away from this JOKER we hire a coach no one in their right minds would hire again. This time showing the whole world we incompetent.

Now we are in the position of we need to move conference's. Pitching our Football program as an asset is impossible. Our inability to hire a competent HC is going to be a liability.

We could get lucky and get in the Big Ten only because who else they going to take? But we do not deserve to join the Big Ten
