Ochais layup to bring it to three should have been goaltending bc the Tech player grabbed the rim.
Harris was shoved when we almost stole it down 5.
That wasnt a tie up. We pulled the ball out of a scrum for a rebound.

Mark Adam's is a good coach; him running that zone out of timeouts was fairly genius.

You may think it is dumb but it is 100% accurate.

West Virginia plays overly aggressive and it bites them on the road.

-With a healthy Remy, there is no place for Harris in this lineup.

-Self better lay off Remy and let him do his thing. Take the good with the bad.

-How hurt is Remy? Either rest or suck it up.

-Wilson is a starter for this team based on rebounding alone. Self needs to be okay with playing Wilson at the 5 on occasions where we really need offense.

-The bigs are not saving this team. The guard play has to carry us.

-Braun is a pro, but a game like today is why he’s not ready for the league. He HAS to play with the killer instinct the entire time he’s on the floor.

-Why in the hell did Bill play 11 guys in the first half?

-The first half offense was terrible. The right guys need to take the shots. Can’t be having late shot clock possessions with Harris or Yesufu launching threes.

-Self is so stubborn. The zone would’ve been very effective in the first half when Tech was starting their onslaught in the paint. He waited too long to swallow his pride.

-The refs helped thwart our comeback. Lands was fouled on a corner 3. Very next possession he got shoved in the back on the rebound. Just one example of a piss poor sequence. That said, the game should’ve never gotten to tue point we needed their help.

-Tech played the game of their season. One career high night. Another tied a season high in points. We have to come to expect this crap from inferior teams. It never fails. Ever.

-If KU wants to be in the league race they need to win out heading to Ames. Have you seen how easy the front 2/3 of the Baylor schedule is? I don’t think they will lose until mid February…

I’d like to add the following:

Self is in the midst of an identity crisis.

Who are we? What do we want to be?

He has tried to adapt his style to his talent, but the ever-changing talent year in and year out makes that difficult.

Look at Scott Drew for example. They have not changed who they are for the past several years. It shows.

Self needs to figure out what he wants to do. Recruit the right players to do it. And stick to it…
