Conference games in January count the same as games in March.

Road games count the same as home games.

I'm not cheering for fucking Baylor or Scott Drew until it's absolutely necessary. And nothing is absolutely necessary in the 1st week of January.

Good for you. I am. I didnt say it was necessary nor did I tell you who to cheer for. You asked why, I answered.

Cheering for Scott Drew is embarrassing. Get ahold of yourself. We're going to be fine.

Not understanding the value of a road win is embarassing. I know we'll be fine. This helps that in my opinion.

If TT is the only threat, would you agree that you would rather see Oklahoma win tonight? Or does it still not make a difference to you because it's January?

Tried to foul him intentionally and almost screwed them.

No big deal. That game was in January. Didn't matter.

If we win the rest of our games then we don't need to depend on other teams losing to gift us the title...so no, that game didn't matter very much last night.

Illy hopes we make it to the NCAA tournament as a 16 seed.
All we have to do is win - doesn't matter the path!

Must be referring to the Texas/OSU game to say it didn't matter very much. I agree. Those two will have a chance at playing on Wednesday in KC come March, so that game didn't have much impact on the Big 12 race.

However, when the top contender is on the ropes at home, you're lying to yourself if you claim to not have a slight rooting interest in the outcome of that game.

I'm not lying to myself. I don't EVER root for Scott Drew unless ABSOLUTELY needed....and I don't root for Lon Kruger on January 8th.

We can easily win this league without help from other teams. Not going to change my mind about that. Even without Dok. We are the best team and other than maybe TT it's really not even that close.

Let me know when another big 12 team plays in a AFH and then I'll root for teams I don't like. Until we lose a home game or 2 I'm not even remotely worried about us not winning the big 12 regular season title.
