One of the fair criticisms of self is injuries.

I understand why he doesn't make things public...though that's frustrating as a fan.

But I'm tired of guys having to play through nagging injuries. Self always says they're not at risk of getting hurt worse...but how many injuries is that actually true for? And isn't it better to let the guy heal and play pain free?

I mean it's McCormack now, Ellis, Selden, Garrett, etc.

Not to mention the weirdness of guys like Remy and embiid.

There is a chance there is a sub-patellar bursa on Remy's knee too. That can take weeks to heal.

Ugly game, WVU doesn't have the energy of classic Huggins teams for a few years now. Not sure if he can't connect to this generation or if he's missing on recruiting his kind of guys.

Dave played his ass off. He's really not moving well, but he's fighting like hell. Making better decisions too. Our defense is going to be a problem against bigs that can shoot threes, he can't defend a pick-and-pop on that bum foot. His defense is still light years better than Lightfoot's...

Who was awful, just absolutely awful. How can he still not box out or go after defensive rebounds after six years? It's not physical (except when he got owned by Osawhatever) - it's just fundamentals. Weird that the freshmen bigs didn't play.

Yesufu played well. Better than Harris. Good to see.

Win in Morgantown is meaningful. 11-2 in this conference is really good.
