Same.
That doesn't mean they looked good.

Saw some pics and videos up close. They looked sweet.

Nah dawg.
That's something you hang on your fridge because your daughter got an A+ in art.

Re: kstate Official Gamethread
Agreed, I liked them.
Re: kstate Official Gamethread
Agreed, but with different conclusion.
I love my family's artwork more than any other artwork. I like my favorite team's jerseys more than any other team's jerseys. The normal jerseys are great. Last night's jerseys were great. The 1922 jerseys were great.
Now, I don't love everything that my family does - stop hitting your sister dammit! But that's more akin to, say, a player getting a DUI. When it comes to something purely subjective though, I will love it just because it's associated with the thing I love.
You, as an artist, I would expect to have a different point of view - to you it's not as subjective

I'm just commenting on the jerseys themselves. ( but I see what you mean mjl )
The colors clash.
There's too much detail for something that most will see from a distance ( court side ESPN+ camera looked like some weird janky pattern most of the time ).
There's a lot of clutter and not just on the side where it isn't as important but on the actual most important part - KANSAS.
The Jayhawk logo on the shorts looks just thrown on.
The blue line on the side of the jersey that flows up from the shorts just stops.
There's just so much going on.
Our branding is mostly just tossed out the window.
Love the thought behind it. Hate the look.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

They were missing trailer hitch chrome. But I liked them. Colorful beatdown garments.
