Play them with Dedric and Dotson. No dilemma.
Vick......
Yeah, you read that right. He's been a mediocre player since the first 6 games of the year.
I would rather sit Grimes if we didn't need to develop him for the tourney. He's been below average the entire year.

Or if Garrett had any semblance of offense in him.
Vick's last 6 games:
10ppg
11-39 from 3 (28%)
25 turnovers

I obviously don't think Self would actually do it. But...

Yet even in that slump ( mostly the Iowa State debacle ), he's shooting almost twice as well from 3 than Garrett is all season.

Nope. 0.423 FG% is below average.

Sick of talking about the chucklehead. Back to the most important stuff of the night.

Agbaji was great tonight.

Tonight it was Grimes who was the odd man out.

Typical game. Two things lead to victory.
Crunch time defense.
Bill's plays coming out of TOs leads to an easy 10 pts.

What a turnaround on defensive energy from the Iowa State game.

Just reading through game thread now.
This is a fantastic take.

Energy was there and we created turnovers, but TCU still shot 50% on us.

Not great on the offensive end, but needs to be on the floor.
I like this comp. They both play their asses off and play smart. I think they are/were what many people mistakenly describe Lightfoot as.

thoughts:
- The whole Agbaji love fest is/was really fun. He's got the advantage of low expectations, as opposed to Grimes. It might be the very reason he's so much more composed than Grimes.
- I loved the way Agbaji communicated on D. The whole team defense was better when he was in.
- The all-6'5"-and-above lineup the last many minutes of the first half won us the game. That was so cool. Garrett went from the 4 to the 1, and we switched all screens.
- Dedric - awesome.
- Moore may have lost his spot in the rotation. Garrett is a better PG.
- Who is going to get more minutes the rest of the year, Ogbaji or Grimes? I think the hopeful answer is Grimes... right?
