I am well aware what it's about.

I don't get banned during KU basketball games. I am capable of being reasonable in game threads.

There's a difference between banning and timeouts - unfortunately the base code doesn't have this built in.
A timeout is an hour/a day break from posting.
A ban means you're done.

Until someone is "unbanned". Or they figure out they can register with a different user name and ip address.
Then they are not done anymore.
