Matheny. Santana on first. Zero outs. Game on the line. Dozier bunts. Slowest man in baseball thrown out at second because why pinch run? Dozier who is still playing for some reason thrown out to end the inning on a pathetic steal attempt. Matheny. Lord.

I think the Royals get over .500. pitching pretty good this year. But Matheny worries me.

Attendance was still about 30k. Probably inflated but impressive.

I did not understand the galaxy-brain behind not running for Santana there.

Matheny randomly hits with 17 showing. Good managers count cards. No way should Santana take game experience at a position of depth from guys we are building with.

162-0. Witt defense today. Colin Snider looked great. Has Busby's number 40. First ML win

Bubic at war with the wind and homeplate umpire. I would love to take subjective and bad umpires out of balls and strikes.

So the Royals pitching in the rotation from 3-5 is really quite shitty

Eldred's odds of making it to Flag Day are growing dimmer by the game.

While the entire "what happens if we make two draft classes entirely out of college pitching" gambit was, by design, about redundancy (and about understanding that pitching prospects miss, a lot), you have to have some guys turn into DUDES.

I still think Singer becomes a starter by mid-May.

But outside of Greinke, Keller and a somewhat inconsistent Hernandez, it's pretty rough. All-in-all, Lynch wasn't terrible. Just threw about 2 really bad pitches, including that hanging slider on that 3 run shot.

But Bubic has to be a lot better. But man, Kowar just isn't it. At all.

I was visiting my future home. Twins Country. Listening to the radio broadcast. They were bagging on the Royals rotation.

This is going to take some adjusting. There is a Chiefs bar.
