Not that I am seeing. Back to back consensus 1st team AA though.

There are like 6 recognized NPOY awards and then there are other ones by different sports media.

It's possible that Danny won the Wonder Bread Best Basketball Player Award in 1987. Still more legit than a Helms title.

But was also thinking this is probably the first big time NPOY award winner to return to CBB since Hansbrough.

This has to put UNC and UK as the preseason 1 and 2.

I think I would probably vote for UT as Big 12 Preseason No. 1.

Hell, it's not unthinkable to see KU picked 3rd.

Depends on who the better freshman will be, Keyonte George or Dick? At different times, they played like they might be the two of the best prospects in the class.

Rumor is this guy is not happy with the Hunter news. Yes, I'd take him.

Harris, McCullar, Dick, Wilson, Clemence, Adams, Uden, Rice

Hunter, Carr, Mitchell, Allen, Bishop, Disu, Cunningham, Brumbaugh

Hate to say it, but I like the latter more for 2023.

Baylor is Cryer, Flagler, George, Mayer or Bridges, Thamba

Another good year for the best league.

Leaving bobby and yes out? Seems unlikely.

Has momma Braun convinced Mosley to come to KU yet? Haven't seen any news of him committing somewhere else. I assume he would instantly leap them on the depth chart.

Bobby, Yesufu, whatever, neither one does anything for me to think we might be more talented than UT.

And, not convinced we're done at that spot. McCullar also played point this past season, so some insurance.

I think it's way more likely that McCullar rides the bench than it is that neither of Yes or Bobby play. But only time will tell.

He has to be waiting on Jalen news, right? Kind of crowded off the ball right now.

That's weird. McCullar is going to play a ton.

Depends on what qualifies as a ton. I do think he will play, especially early if Rice/Dick aren't ready, but I think Yes and/or Bobby will play a lot too. Especially whichever 1 establishes themselves higher on the depth chart.

This time last season we said Yes and JCL would play a "ton" too. McCullar is battling 2 McDonalds AA for minutes more than he is battling Yes/Bobby imo.

Yeah. Can’t see any reason not to think of McCullar as a Top 6 of the rotation guy. Could end up being Top 2-3.

I don't recall anyone predicting JCL would play a ton. He came in for a role. Of course, Remy and Och coming back meant the other transfers were sliding two seats down from where they may have originally thought.

McCullar is the exact opposite of JCL. Good at everything but shooting. JCL not good at anything but shooting. McCullar is a slightly worse Marcus Garrett. Basically Bill's wet dream. And now easily the most experienced player on the team (if he comes).
