Passed away today. I grew up watching him play and remember the Superbowl against the Vikes. Listened to him on the radio for years.
RIP Lenny.
RIP Lenny
Re: RIP Lenny
Yeah, just saw that. Too bad. He just retired from broadcasting 4-5 years ago, still looked great. I was too young to see him play, but I've watched plenty of videos over the years. The classic pic of him smoking a cig during halftime at SuperBowl IV or V is a classic.
Re: RIP Lenny
My brother and I would watch every game with the teevee sound down and Kevin Harlan and Lenny on 101 the fox.
Defense. Rebounds.
Re: RIP Lenny
Smart QB. Great color announcer. No homer either. He would call out bad players. I am grateful the team won another SB while he was here to enjoy it.

Re: RIP Lenny
I put a bid on the framed and autographed pic of Len smoking a cigarette at Super Bowl halftime.
It was a silent auction, I bid 5k.

Re: RIP Lenny
I think this one was different. It was in a badass frame.
Also, it was a charity event.

Re: RIP Lenny
There is a photoshop of Mahomes doing that too which is a nice generational companion shot.
