Marcus Garrett - DPOY

Big 12 DPOY. dont see who else it would be. Konate was preseason but he is missing too much of league play to have a claim to it. I can't think of anyone else that can guard 1-5 and give you 4+ steals on any given night.

also.. he's kind of taking ownership of this team. Bill Self says he doesn't feel comfortable without Garrett on the court

I kinda feel like he is...at least in the weave, when he gets the ball at the top of the key, headfakedribblelayup covers a lot of ground in a hurry.

Graham was a good athlete, but not exceptional, and blowing past a defender wasn’t really his thing like it is with Garrett.
