Chicago has some of the strictest gun laws out there
That wasn't your augment. You implied more guns = more safety from guns. But way to move the goal posts. Again.
To me, there is a difference between legally owned guns and illegally owned guns.
Can you tell the difference when one is fired in your direction?

I was shot by a legally owned gun, by a LEO.

I am pretty sure it fucking hurt just the same

Other than being legally and illegally owned, what's the difference?

Not sure how to word this clearly...i meant in relation to whether more guns = more safety from guns/less crime. If that makes sense?

Chicago has an estimated 500,000 illegal guns on the street, and it is clearly not resulting in more safety from guns or less crime.

I think I understand what you are trying to say. Problem is too many people believe they know things that they don't know in regards to actual gun statistics.
What I do know for a fact is 18 years ago today (December 18th 2004) I found my best friend dead with bullet holes in his body - from a "legal" gun or "illegal" gun - and I know he wouldn't have been shot and killed if the person/people who shot him didn't have a "legal" or "illegal" gun.

Sorry to hear that. I'm sure this day is tough every year. Stay strong G.
