So what they’re saying is Wiggins isn’t as popular as all that and didn’t deserve to be an all star.

Butt hurt non-vote getters want all stars based on the NDA signed sometime before the season.

To me, this is egg on the face of the NBA brass. The NBA created a fan friendly method of helping to select All-Stars. "Fair" or not, I'm not a fan of an easily manipulated popularity contest. Sure it's fun for fans to feel they have a say in who gets selected but this is an example of how that creates assholes who know how to to beat the system.

In theory the idea of fan voting seemed fun. But when Tacko Fall and Boban types (or Melo types at the end of their careers) are getting a shitload of votes it started to ruin it for me.

Wiggins OBVIOUSLY was closer to legit than those examples, but I think we would all agree his regular season last year did not warrant being an all star starter over some of those guys on the bench.

is CB the better prospect than Och, or this a coaching/program thing?
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Could be both. He certainly wound up in a better situation. But he is bigger stronger and more physical. You could argue he has a better all around game

Och was streaky. CB more consistent shooting the ball.

Missed Svi with 5 points in 6 minutes in a Knicks blowout of the Curry and Wiggins less Warriors last night.

Also wondering if it's acceptable to talk about Quentin Grimes in this thread?
