that was so rad.

now that I think about it I don't remember many regular season games over the years. But I def remember this one. I was in the Johnny's in Prairie Village, sitting at the bar, thinking about what a beast Elijah was.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

We have a thread for that.

It’s big, and energetic too.

Am I the only one who watches all KU games with the sound off? Most of the time the announcers just annoy me.

Same goes for Chiefs unless Kevin Harlan is calling the game.

The only announcer who I’ve personally found annoying enough to actually mute is Dickie V.

Fran is bad, but I still will have him on in case of some train wreck comment, I guess. Still haven’t ever actually muted him otherwise.

I can't listen to Fran or Dickie V. My sister will be watching in St Louis and I will get a text, "wtf with "The Kiss" again?" That's when I remind her, this is why I keep my TV on mute.

Bill Walton can be funny, you never know what is going to come out of his mouth.

No Fran tonight FYI. Couple of guys I haven't heard much about.

Walton is so off-the-wall, it can at least be entertaining, especially during what’s otherwise usually just some random late night pac 12 game that only Beav cares about.

Not for me. Walton is as bad as they get. He talks nonsense and knows close to nothing about the actual players in the game (unless they are from UCLA).

Nope..I do the same practically every game. I also can’t take the sound of the 2-3 commercials that are on a constant loop for these games. Muted sound problem solved.

I can't remember what it game it was, maybe a game with Louisville. The other announcers are going on and on about the athletes Louisville had on the floor. How would Kansas compete with these athletes? Walton pipes up, if this was a track meet you guys might have a point but we are playing basketball today and Kansas has the best basketball team and it's not close. Walton was right on that day.
