I personally would enjoy seeing us move ahead with the KJ/Udeh era, but Self’s presser comments make me think Dickinson is a pretty much done deal.

KU being on that list is pretty impressive being that the other three are pretty much hometown teams for Dickinson.

Seal the deal, Bill!

Id feel bad for udeh and zuby, i like them both a lot and hope they finish their careers here.

But in the transfer portal age, you must get the best players available. Older teams tend to be better teams

Someone was telling me Dickinson can shoot? If so he would be a better fit with KJ

Shot 42% on 57 attempts last year. Career 36% on 125 attempts. Solid for a 7'1 center.

Yeah he would be a focal point of this offense.

Let's KJ play more of that 4 role and Ernest can spell minutes. Getting him would be massive for KU.

Dickinson feels like a must get. That would put our team on another level

Dickinson would be one and done here. Hopefully we could convince udeh to play back up center for one more year and take over as a junior. Dickinson/udeh would be ELITE

Id hate to lose zuby if we get Dickinson. Wonder how patient and committed to KU he would be. Best case scenario is getting Dickinson and zuby being content with a redshirt

Jamille Reynolds, 6'11" transfer from Temple. Last year averaged 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 block on 60% shooting. Dickinson obviously is the priority but this guy would be a solid backup plan.

Dickinson seems like a perfect fit for Bill and staff...if they get him, McCullar comes back, and they get a shooter out of the portal, look out.

i’m gonna be a skeptic, given that outside shooting is the bigger issue right now
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Going into the offseason, my wishlist was a big, a couple of shooters, and a PG. Getting McCullar back wouldn't change much of that in my mind. But with our combo guard recruits coming in, it probably lessons the need for a backup ballhandler for Harris.

Yeah, Jackson will back up Juan and play next to him too some.

Ideal to me would get Dickinson and Cryer and a 6'5"-6'7" 3-and-D wing.

Juan
Cryer
3nD wing
KJ
Dickinson

Jackson and Udeh main players off the bench.

That's a top three team.
