KU likely won’t get outbid and if the money is equal, or close to it, odds are you choose the best coach.

He gets to be GM and coach but not at the NBA level where the pressure and moving pieces are higher/numerous.
Yeah. Ku is in a prime position to use modern circumstances to ascend to another level. People are gonna hate us

If self keeps landing whoever he wants people are really gonna hate us

His highlight videos remind me of Cliff Alexander's; dunking on a bunch of White kids that are half his size...let's hope this turns out better.

Sorry I'm late to the party. I just found out! I've been hoping this all along. The 1st commitment for '24 turns out to be huge! This could truly cause a domino effect for the next recruiting class.

It's nice to finally beat out Duke for a top recruit.

Seems like a done deal to Duke and a kid who is just looking to enjoy the sweet spoils of some really top notch recruiting trips.

We've gotten quite a few done deals.
It's not a done deal.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Long way from being a done deal. Self had been on fire lately. Not saying we get him or Duke cant, but we of is the premiere name in college basketball right now.

When self talks recruits listen. And self + the kansas brand + nil deals has been a really tough force to beat

Duke will pay up but would you rather be coached by the best active college bb coach or some guy who rode Coach Ks rat tails to his job.

Also, the kid is from middle of nowhere Maine. Close to farm country. Maybe that helps us.

Isn't Maine pretty much just some people on the coast and then one big ass forest?

Kind of but there is an area around where Flagg lives where there are a number of farms.

Yeah, I agree. I won't put anything past Self and KU's current NIL strength. Who knows, I hope I am pleasantly surprised. Sounds like he is coming to Late Night for his visit.

I'm ready to jump on the Cooper Flagg to KU bandwagon. What a recruiting double it would be to get Bidunga and Flagg in the same class! Add Bethea to that and it would be a grand slam!

Oh wait, you need 4 for a grand slam. Put McNeely in that class too!

Sounds like Bethea is headed to Miami. Guess he likes mediocrity.
