Nevada wasn’t the team they were thought to be.

fun shit!

saw KU -28 earlier and said, holy shit when was the last time we were 4 touchdown faves on the road!

but at the time I said it with more optimism than cynicism. Go figure.

and go figure a team on a 12 game loosing streak plays the game of their lives making big plays and getting all these breaks their way...what is this, KU basketball?

anywho if you guys need me we'll be at the shack til sunup. Yea pdub already locked the front door, but Dale says he knows a way to get back in thru the women's restroom window.

Whew!

Went to bed at halftime and watched the rest of the game this morning.

They got off to a slow start, but it was nice to see the refs up their game in the second half.

When was the last game we had where our opponents fumbled five times and did not lose possession on any of those fumbles?

BYU beat a pretty good Arkansas team in Fayetteville...their offense looked really good; probably going to put up big numbers against KU.

Last season KU started 5-0. Then went 1-6. Not including the L in the Puberty (Liberty) Bowl.
This season I'm predicting 4-0 (upset alert - beat BYU by 3 or 4 or 5 or 6) then go 2-6.

When did it ever happen with any team? I can't remember ever watching a game where that was the case.

Seems like a combination of guys buying in the predictions of a blowout win and somebody forgetting to tell Nevada that they were supposed to be blown out. KU cannot make that same mistake with BYU. I watched them spot Arkansas a 14 point lead last night and come back to win. They are scrappy and talented.

Most Big XII offenses will score at will against this KU defense. The D-line and LB's are decent, but the secondary is atrocious and teams are going pick them apart.

330 yards passing Daniels.
110 yards rushing Neal.
3 sacks from KU defense.
21+ point win.

Things I’d love to see:

Jason Bean reception TD.
Kobe pick six in second half ( since he has to sit out first bc the officials last game were TERRRRRRIBLE )
I’d like to see KU games broadcast on non-obscure networks that don’t require me to pay to watch.

Holy crap - they have a Cornhole channel. A channel for cornhole. As in, bags.

I don't get the popularity of cornhole. Horseshoes is such a superior game.

But with horseshoes, you might break a nail.

(That, and once a bag lands, it loses its momentum, i.e., cornhole is contained.)

That and horseshoes feels more of an outdoor game while cornhole can be indoor/outdoor.
I also like that you have four bags rather than two shoes which, to me, brings a touch more strategy.

Lost all respect for Vince Vaughn today on ESPN Gameday when he confused KU and KSU. Come on, baby. You used to be so money.
